Integration Services

The joining of databases, the exchange of medical findings, such as laboratory values, images and other measuring data, can be controlled and performed by a communication server. We have acquired deep practical experiences in using E*Gate Integrator 4.5.3 in our projects. Compared to point-to-point interfaces, the communication server has the following advantages:

  • Improved structure of system coupling as each integrated system only requires the interface to the integration platform which acts as a “centralised data turntable”.
  • Clear arrangement and transparency of the data exchange as well as central monitoring of data communication by alarm messages and logging so that failures in communication can be analysed faster and can be removed with less effort.
  • Reduction of the time and cost outlay for realisation and maintenance of the interfaces by graphical tools and by integrated message structure libraries (such as HL7 all versions).
  • Easy migration of the overall system for exchange and/or supplementation of individual system components (investment protection as far as possible and upstream utilisation of communication applications for other couplings).

We offer standard DART eways which directly write into the database of GCRS and we can read directly from other databases .
