The Report Builder provides users with an easy mechanism to create user-configurable reports based on predefined data items.

As soon as new items have to be defined, detailed knowledge of the physical database structure and of a query language is required. If this knowledge does not exist, data items as well as complete report templates can be imported and exported from a source which provides this know-how (for easy reporting, use the Query Builder and the export utility to MS-Excel).

All reports can be previewed prior to printing. Reports are implemented as separate programs which can be run in their own window. The user can switch to another window and can continue using his workstation for other purposes.

At the moment scheduling of reports is only supported by the operating system. Reports use the standard MS-Windows printing system.

Report scheduling can be implemented by defining a service corresponding to the required report and attaching the program code ID of the report to the service.
