The GCRS workplace integrates all functions of the medical and administrative fields under one uniform interface. Basically the access and the handling of all case-related functions is licensed with a GCRS workplace. Apart from the purely case-related functions, the fast access to general functions, such as query builder, order lists, reports and statistics, service recording, lists or Interface settlements and mail, is possible here as well. In order to ensure consistent data management, in particular with respect to the exchange of information between the medical and administrative bodies, it shall be pointed out here again that GCRS manages all data in one database and relies on interface systems only for links to specialised sub-systems, such as specialised laboratory or radiology systems.

The GCRS workplace is a real Windows client which can be linked to the database by TCP/IP, SPX/IPX, Netbios and several other protocols. The client can be installed on every workplace or on a server.
