The System administration module permits the creation and maintenance of users, their user logins and passwords. All passwords are stored in encrypted form. The system allows the definition of user profiles (job descriptions) and the allocation of user profiles to users.

The definition of user profiles is used to control user authorisations, which determine which case objects are blocked or allowed with read or update access rights. Objects, which are blocked will appear grey in the application. It is defined to which screens and racks a profile has access and which types of services and medical records a profile can edit.

In addition, the system administrator can hide or rename fields and image objects, which are not subject to a fixed process.

The system administrator permits the creation of a backup procedure, which allows the backup of the database in open condition. It is possible to switch between different scales of auditing categories.
